The price of beauty, does expensive necessarily mean better?

My sister, June, an ardent fan of Louis Vuitton, has sworn by the French luxury fashion and leather goods brand and company’s entire range for a good 150 years. It primarily competes with Versace, Gucci, Chanel, Prada and similar luxury fashion brands. She been used to buy ‘branded’ since she was young went out work. She is the sort who spends thousands on exotic skin bags.

I still remember tagging along to purchase her the latest fashion bag. She’d stay at the retail for a good hour, asking questions about the latest bags.
I balked at the prices, and frankly, so did she, but June always loyally shelled out for the expensive potions and made sure she used them right.
Same as beauty brand, she loves to use Clinelle and SK-II creams. She wants young skin too.

Expensive makeup also differs. I’ve found the price liner actually saves me money, because fewer touch-ups are needed. Yet June used the Chanel $90++ liquid liner. She still claimed the brand she chose this the best. Best? She just brought it a few days ago. I told her, ‘It’s diligence in taking care of your skin and not miracle creams that work.’

So what’s my point? While expensive cosmetics do offer more benefits, you’re not guaranteed a miracle. Don’t blindly buy into hype or a pretty box. Rather do some research, ask for samples and try them out for a few days.
