It's not a good starting.

Going in and out of the hospital’s ward, I feel the tiredness have had in me. Yet, we have not given out on Mum. Mum is currently staying at a room with special care. Just remember a couples of days, sis and I went early morning before Mum’s operation. We tried to calm her down and let her know we support her that much. It was the time, she were really and pushed her to the theatre. Then, I went for work while Dad was there.

So glad that heard from Dad that the operation was successful at the afternoon. My heart lightened and I felt safe to go home. Until, I was waiting for the second bus, my phone rang.
My brother called. Oh gosh, Mum was in danger.
Her wounds and inter-organs were bleeding randomly. As a normal person should have 5ml of blood but Mum had lose almost 3ml. I rushed home.

Everyone was crying and fears. Dad drove us all to the hospital because’ we couldn’t just wait at home. We asked the nurse at the wards and she said Mum was at the operation. Oh gosh, Mum went for the second rounds. I feel the stress and fears. Cried with my prays for Mum…

After 2 hours, Mum was moved to the SICU and we went to see her. She was enclosed in a special room with front glass door where everyone could see her. Machinery and equipment which we saw on TV somehow it happened in front of me. Mum was feeling greatly tired, and her hand and shoulder contented with pipes. I lose myself in the room and cried outside.

I can't believe this, Mum.

A few months before, Mum went to the family doctor and she kept complaining about her pain got on her stomach. The doctor advised her to take an X-ray check-up. Yet, it resulted something which everyone dun except to happen. The X-ray showed a 21cm round object at the gallball of liver.

Mum got worried while everyone got too. Later, she went to CGH with sister and an over-body check-up. Worse to worse, the doctor announced the bad news to her after they got back the report. She’s really sick. She got gastrointestinal carcinoid tumor, which is cancer that forms in the lining of the gastrointestinal tract. Terrible report said that she got two cells in her large intestine.
Mum was so shocked. She went back and cried. Dad tears too.
She got to drink a medicine before the night she went for a colonoscopy, which colonoscope (a thin, lighted tube) is inserted through the rectum into the colon (large intestine). Yet, at the night, Mum couldn’t suffer anymore of the medicine drink. She got the 1st jar (still have 3 more jar), then kept shitting inside the toilet and vomiting. This made her deadly pain. My heart really sank and everyone was crying. Sister called an ambulance. For goodness sake, this is the my 1st time I 'see' the ambulance came into my house door.

The next day, the doctor made another report. Carcinoid syndrome has occurred if the tumor spreads to the liver. OH MY GOD. SHE GOT ANOTHER ON LIVER. A gastrointestinal carcinoid tumor often has no signs in its early stages. While Mum felt the sign as in pain or a feeling of fullness in the abdomen, her illness got really badly. She’s on 4th stage, the last stage.

Doctor checked her breast and felt something was hard. He doubt the cell might have spread on her breast…

I got a mail from my friend. The pictures show the ULTIMATE closet every girl dreams of, Mariah Carey's closet. This is ridiculous...if I only had that closet as a house, I'd die happy.

Happy new year

One year has just passed and there comes the 2007. I have not set my revolution yet. But I have changed my nickname to Joie. My god-sister has the same name of mine, Joyce. We have a problem while we work at the same company. Whenever the customers call the branch, finding the wrong person, we got mixed up. I set up my mind; have a change in my nickname, with slight pronunciation. And I could feel a new start of myself in the year.

The lunar Chinese New Year is coming around the time even thought my shop have turned on the New Year’s songs during Christmas. We were desperate. Even the decoration we have plainly got some ideas in mind. I went into the market and bought some gold decorate goods, which wrote on best wishes and hopes for the brand new year. Of course, I have spent on those things. Yet there are some we tried on D.I.Y but the decoration did not come out as interesting as the ones we bought from outside. Overall, it shows how much we want on New Year. A blooms in business please.
